COVID-19 : end of the subscription suspension
In April 2020, the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) offered active subscribers to the OPUS à l’année and OPUS & Cie programs the option to suspend their subscriptions due to the public health emergency.
Your suspension offer has ended.
If you did not reactivate your suspended subscription, it has unfortunately expired. You can no longer use your subscription OPUS card. If you renew your subscription, you will receive a new, valid subscription OPUS card.
- The payments are suspended and will resume on December 15, 2021 (for the January 2022 fare).
- For more details, refer to the offer terms below.
This new suspension offer is reserved for OPUS à l’année or OPUS & Cie subscribers who suspended their subscriptions before December 11, 2020, and whose subscriptions have not been reactivated since.
This suspension extension offer does not apply to subscribers who did not suspend their subscriptions in spring 2020 or who have already reactivated their subscriptions.
- The suspension will continue automatically for already registered customers.
- The debits scheduled until November 15, 2021 inclusively are suspended.
- Payments will resume on December 15 for the January 2022 fare.
- The subscriber will therefore be able to resume using his subscription title from January 1, 2022, or from the month following the reactivation of his subscription.
Note that if you reactivate your subscription, you will not be able to reactivate the suspension afterwards.
Employers registered for the OPUS & Cie subscription program will see their contribution maintained or suspended throughout the duration of the offer, depending on whether or not their employees register for the current offer.
Providing false or misleading information to receive a fare reduction constitutes fraud and is subject to criminal prosecution.
Customers who provide false or misleading information could have their OPUS card deactivated and will not be able to take advantage of the Offer.
This Offer cannot be combined with any other fare offer.
Suspended fares do not constitute valid fares, and their eventual use during the suspension period constitutes an offence.
- Under this exceptional measure, no amount will be charged to your account for the months listed below, and you will maintain your subscription privileges.
- Suspension of the subscription until December 2021.
- Subscription debits will resume on December 15, 2021 for the January 2022 fare.
Subscribers who suspend their subscriptions and wish to use public transit for their occasional trips during the suspension are responsible for obtaining a valid transit fare on a card other than the one used for their subscription.
This offer applies to subscribers to the OPUS à l’année and OPUS & Cie programs (as well as exo’s OPUS+ and OPUS+ entreprise programs) who cannot use public transit due to the current state of health emergency.
Monthly passes purchased from OPUS en ligne, a fare vending machine, an authorized retailer or a ticket agent are not eligible for this ARTM initiative.
All customers subscribed to the OPUS year-round or OPUS & Cie subscription program who activated the suspension before December 11, 2021, are eligible.
Your subscription will be suspended up to and including the month of December 2021.
Your fare subscription will be automatically reactivated on January 1, 2022. Payment for this fare subscription will be debited on December 15, 2021.
