Purchase your CAM card on the 25th of each month

Montréal, September 25, 2008 –

 The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) wishes to remind transit users that regular and reduced fare CAM cards go on sale on the 25th day of each month. By purchasing your CAM card in advance or by loading it onto your OPUS card, you can avoid the long line-ups on the first day of each month.

Transit fares are available from fare collectors in the métro and from authorized retail outlets. A complete list of retailers and additional information on this subject can be found at this website address: www.carteopus.info. And for those clients who already have an OPUS card, remember that you can charge your monthly transit fare from the automated vending equipment located inside all métro stations.

When planning their transportation, clients are invited to call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (514 288-6287) for timetables at their bus stop. For other information, they should call 514 786-4636, STM-INFO. More transit related information can also be found on the STM website at www.stm.info.
