STM: Invested in our city

From east to west and north to south, the métro, the bus and the paratransit have been taking Montrealers to their favorite events. At the STM, creating partnerships with the festive heart and soul of Montréal has always come naturally!

Our portfolio is already packed with major events, immersive experiences in the transit network, annually renewed partnerships and all the things that make Montréal what it is. But we’re always looking for new opportunities to support the organizations that move us.

Want to work with the STM on your project?

First of all, make sure that your proposal fits into our calendar and meets the following criteria:

The STM works with partners that align with our strategic orientations:

1. Improve the customer experience of STM network users.

  • Ensure smooth mass travel.
  • Support quality of service and increase feelings of safety.
  • Work closely with organizers to plan a sufficient service offering to provide an optimal customer experience and improve the quality of life of our customers.

2. Encourage the use of public transit for recreational trips through partnership.

    3. Promote the STM brand and help Montrealers share the good times.

    The STM does not award financial sponsorship. As a public corporation, the STM is able to offer contributions to our partners, such as:

    • Signage in our network and communication tools
    • Access to bus and métro facilities
    • Transit fares (for promotional purposes only)

    The STM does not award financial sponsorship, give out transit fare cards or enter into partnerships for the purpose of sponsoring products or services, personal projects, cultural exchanges, cooperative missions, political parties, religious events or or sports tournaments.

    The STM does not participate in any fundraising activities or support any non-profit organization other than those sponsored through our Social commitment program.

    For transportation of employees, students, customers, business partners or participants to events such as conferences, business meetings, sporting events, etc., visit our web page on Buying large quantities of transit fares.

    To request an authorization in connection with the holding of an experiential activity, a filming or a photo shoot in the STM bus and metro network, visit our Activities, taking photos and shooting videos section.

    All applicants must fill out an online request using the available form by the applicable deadlines below.
    All complete requests submitted on time will be reviewed by a selection committee. All applicants will receive a response.

    All requests for new or for renewal of partnerships must be made via the form below.

    The STM conducts quarterly partnership application reviews in April, July, October and January. We will contact you as soon as possible once we have made our decision. Due to the high number of proposals that we receive, we ask that you please not contact the STM to enquire about your application.
