Following the announcement of the transfer of paratransit minibus service to external partners, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has confirmed today that it is awarding new service contracts to three suppliers that will meet current and future user needs starting in 2026, namely through accessible vans, rigorous quality control and appropriate training.
In light of the positive results from the temporary security measures introduced in late winter, Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has announced that the move along order for STM facilities will be reintroduced through April 30, 2026. Physical measures at eight targeted stations will also remain in place to focus safety and maintenance resources on smaller spaces and to improve operations.

As part of the progress of the Blue Line Extension Project, the STM is continuing its efforts to mitigate the impact of construction on local mobility. Starting July 7, a new shuttle bus, line 814 Jean-Talon East / Bélanger, will be introduced to improve travel in the area affected by the construction sites. This supplementary service will run in a loop between Viau Street and Langelier Boulevard, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with a frequency of approximately 30 minutes.
