Pedestrian streets 2024
Over the summer, pedestrian streets will generate bus reroutings. Please note that due to unforseeable events, the information below is subject to change without notice.
With the detours in effect, our bus schedules could be impacted. Plan your trips with the help of our real-time bus positioning tool, available on the home page map.
Visualize your bus detours
Go to our home page and enter the bus line you would like to view in the “Schedules and Maps” tab. The bus line will appear in a solid blue line, and detours will be identified by a blue, dotted line. The red line indicates the cancelled section and stops. If you do not see a red line, the bus is running on its regular route.
Sainte-Catherine East

Mont-Royal Avenue
Bus reroutings start : May 27
Mont-Royal Avenue is pedestrian between Fullum and Saint-Denis streets, from May 27 to September 5 inclusively. A partial reopening is planned after this date, at which Mont-Royal Avenue will remain pedestrian only between Saint-Denis and Saint-Laurent. Bus reroutings will be modified on that day.

Impacts at Mont-Royal station
Bus lines 11, 97, 368, 711 and 804 do not stop at Mont-Royal station during this time. The service is rerouted on Saint-Joseph, and at Laurier station.
Impacts at Laurier station
Bus lines 11, 97, 368, 711 and 804 are in service at Laurier station during this time. In order to facilitate boarding over the summer, the stops are temporarily relocated.
Please note!
Due to construction works around Laurier station, the stops for lines 711-W, 11-W, 97-W and 368-W are relocated on Saint-Joseph between Drolet and Saint-Denis until the end of June.
Universal accessibility
Laurier station is not equipped with an elevator. We recommend using one of the following itinireraries to access bus lines 11, 97, 368, 711 or 804.
From Rosemont station
- Make your way to Chateaubriand / Rosemont (51672)
- Board line 30 Saint-Denis / Saint-Hubert southbound
- Get off at Saint-Denis / Saint-Joseph (60993), which is located near Laurier station
From Mont-Royal station
- Make your way to Saint-Denis / du Mont-Royal (61896)
- Board line 30 Saint-Denis / Saint-Hubert northbound
- Get off at Saint-Denis / Saint-Joseph (61899), which is located near Laurier station
How to get to the moutain
Follow Mont-Royal Avenue to du Parc Avenue, then follow the path beginning at du Parc / Côte-Sainte-Catherine to reach the stairs to the summit. Hiking trails are accessible from the George-Étienne Cartier Monument.

In order to facilitate your trips, special measures have been put in place in pedestrian zones.
Here are the three steps of your trip:
- The driver will ring your doorbell or, if it is a public place, go inside and identify himself as a Paratransit driver.
- He will accompany you to the vehicle.
- Once arrived at your destination, the driver will accompany you to the door and make sure you have entered the building before leaving the premises.
