TRAVEL INFO – WORK ON THE LOUIS-HiPPOLYTE-LAFONTAINE TUNNEL
During the major repairs to the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, the ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is working with all transit service providers to implement public transit mitigation measures that will offer drivers alternative travel options for the remainder of the work. These measures will include the construction of new public transit infrastructure and the addition of services by the STM, RTL and exo.

New 811 Health Facilities Shuttle
Starting January 16, 2023, the STM, in collaboration with the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable and the Mistère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, will introduce the 811 – Health Facilities Shuttle in order to facilitate access to many health care institutions in the east end of Montréal.
This shuttle will begin its route at Radisson métro station, before making stops at Cadillac, Langelier and Assomption métro stations, on the Green line, and heading to 9 designated health care facilities. With a point of departure at Radisson métro station, bus line 811 – Health Facilities Shuttle makes for an easy transfer from the Réseau de transport de Longueuil’s 461 line. This line previously stops at de Mortagne and de Touraine Park-and-Rides.
Line 811 – Health Facilities Shuttle will be in service Monday through Friday from 5:30 am until 8pm and offers departures :
- Every 20 minutes from 6am to 9:30am and from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
- Every 30 minutes off peak

822 Longue-Pointe shuttle
The 822 Longue-Pointe shuttle is a temporary service that will be implemented during weekdays to mitigate the impact of the work on the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. This shuttle will service the following: Radisson station, Langelier station, Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal, the military base and various businesses in the area such as the SAQ head office.
The shuttle operates Monday through Friday and pass every 20 minutes during morning, late afternoon and lunchtime rush hours.

Two terminuses at Radisson
The Radisson métro station has two terminuses to accommodate the new RTL and exo buses.

Métro and bus service
An additional train has been added between 6 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on the Yellow line.
The schedule of reserved lane for buses, taxis and carpools on Sherbrooke Street between Haig and Parthenais has been extended. Monday to Friday :
- West: 6:00 to 9:30 a.m.
- East: 3:30 to 8:00 p.m.

- 432 Express Lacordaire
River shuttles
The N1 Montréal-Mercier / Boucherville river shuttle service is offered free of charge. The dock is located at 38 000 Bellerive Street, inside the Bellerive Park.
In service from May 15 to November 12, 2023, 7 days a week with a frequency every 45 minutes.
Monday to Friday: first departure at 5:45 a.m. from Boucherville
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: first departure at 10:15 a.m. from Boucherville
This service is free of charge at all times, as it is a mitigation measure implemented exclusively for the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel work.
