The STM, official carrier for
La Fête des enfants de Montréal

Montreal, August 5, 2003 – For a fifth consecutive year, the Société de transport de Montréal will proudly be the official carrier for La Fête des enfants de Montréal, held next August 16 and 17 at Parc Maisonneuve. Accessing the site will be easy thanks to a shuttle bus service provided by the STM from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. between Viau métro station and Parc Maisonneuve. Images of Urbain, the STM’s mascot, will be displayed on all shuttle buses, making them even easier to find.

Upon presentation of a family pass for La Fête des enfants, available in all Jean Coutu pharmacies on the island of Montreal, children and their families will be entitled to travel for free aboard the STM’s buses and métro during these two days.

Over the years, La Fête des enfants has become a popular event, bringing together Montreal’s various communities. The STM is proud to be a part of the success of this family-oriented event and invites all children to come meet Urbain, its friendly mascot, who will greet them as enthusiastically as always.
