In the East, a Tandem that Doubles the Efficiency!

Montréal, May 30, 1997 - The STCUM wishes to inform its ridership that as of next June 16, Rivière-des-Prairies and Montréal-North will double their accessibility thanks to routes 48 - Perras and 49 - Léger. Route 49 proposes a new circuit that borrows Rodolphe-Forget Street between Maurice-Duplessis and Perras boulevards. In Rivière-des-Prairies, Jean-Groux school, the library, the community centre and the CLSC will from now on be serviced by this route. For commuters west of Langelier Boulevard and Montréal-North, the new 49 - Léger route will offer a commute that is just as fast as route 48 - Perras, with the same stops, to the Henri-Bourassa métro. The circuit of route 48 - Perrras has also been modified. It will from now on go along Léger and Perras boulevards and no longer along Ozias-Leduc Street.

Lastly, route 33 - Langelier has also been modified. From now on it will go along Fernand-Gauthier Street north of Perras Boulevard instead of 4e Avenue. There will be safe and easy transfer points to routes 48 and 49.
