Routes 104 and 138
Modifications to the Service as of January 6

Montréal, December 12, 1996 - The Montréal Urban Community Transit Corporation wishes to advise its customers that modifications will be brought to the schedule and services of bus routes 104 and 138. Theses decisions were taken in view of the low ridership and of the available alternatives.

Route 104 - Cavendish
On weekdays and weekends, frequency of service will be every 60 minutes and the south terminal will now be at the Atwater station instead of the Lionel-Groulx station. An alternate service for commuters would be Route 17 - Décarie whose terminal is at the Place Saint-Henri station.

Route 138 - Notre-Dame-de-Grâce
On weekdays and weekends, frequency of service will be every 60 minutes and the west terminal will now be on Kildare Street instead of Cavendish Boulevard.

These changes will translate into savings of $270,000 for the STCUM.

The STCUM also wishes to advise its customers that the Planibus pamphlets available on board buses from next January 3 to 17 will be in effect until June 15. At that time, they will also be distributed in about a hundred outlets that sell CAM passes or tickets.
