À la suite de la diffusion, sur les médias sociaux, de courtes vidéos montrant une rame de métro circuler sur la ligne verte avec les portes ouvertes, la STM poursuit son investigation interne et, à ce jour, aucune hypothèse ne peut être écartée.

Montreal, April 27, 2017 – With only twenty days until the opening of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP)’s 2017 Global Public Transport Summit, the two host organizations for the event – the AMT (Agence métropolitaine de transport) and the STM (the Société de transport de Montréal) – have outlined some of the highlights of its program for this 62^nd international congress that will be held at the Montreal Convention Centre from May 15 to 17.

Montréal, le 27 avril 2017 – À moins de vingt jours de l’ouverture du Sommet mondial des transports publics 2017 de l’Union internationale des transports publics (UITP), les deux organisations hôtes, l’Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) et la Société de transport de Montréal (STM), présentent les grandes lignes de la programmation de ce 62^e congrès international qui se déroulera au Palais des congrès de Montréal, du 15 au 17 mai 2017, sous le thème « MENER la transition ».

With Défi sportif AlterGo activities getting underway today, STM is proud to once again be the official transporter for the event, one it has supported since 1993.

For many years now, STM has been driven by the need for better inclusion for individuals with functional limitations. Its partnership with Défi sportif AlterGo is a meaningful example, with STM seeing to the transportation needs of thousands of athletes who are taking part in this unique, international sports event.

Alors que les activités du Défi sportif AlterGo débutent aujourd’hui, la STM est fière d’être de nouveau le transporteur officiel de l’événement, qu’elle soutient depuis 1993.

La Société est animée depuis plusieurs années déjà par le souci d’une meilleure inclusion des personnes ayant une limitation fonctionnelle. Le partenariat avec le Défi sportif AlterGo est un exemple probant, puisque la STM assure ainsi les déplacements des milliers d’athlètes qui participent à cet événement international unique au monde.

Not only do they contribute to improving air quality, your rides with public transit contribute to reducing traffic congestion and CO₂ emissions, largely responsible for climate change. For every ton of CO₂ emitted by the STM, 20 are avoided in Montréal.

Le 22 avril, c’est le Jour de la Terre et l’occasion idéale de rappeler que se déplacer en bus et en métro, c’est opter pour un mode de transport efficace et fiable et surtout, durable sur toute la ligne. 

En plus de contribuer à l’amélioration de la qualité de l’air, vos déplacements en transport collectif contribuent à réduire la congestion routière et les émissions de CO₂, grands responsables des changements climatiques. Pour chaque tonne de CO₂ émise par la STM, 20 sont évitées à Montréal.

Today, Tennis Canada and Société de transport de Montréal (STM) are announcing the renewal of their Rogers Cup partnership.

As Tennis Canada celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Green Plan, STM is pleased to contribute to the organization’s efforts to maintain its « carbon-neutral event » certification by once again providing free transportation to ticket holders and by extending this offer to all tickets. Spectators with tickets in either paper or electronic format can ride the bus or métro for free to get there and back.
