The STM offers free bus service to Percival-Molson Stadium

Montreal, 8 June 2006 - For a ninth consecutive year, the STM is upholding its partnership with the Montréal Alouettes by providing free bus service to Percival-Molson Stadium throughout the team’s regular season in Montréal beginning Thursday, June 8, 2006.

The shuttle service offers an alternative

The shuttle service is a rapid way to reach the stadium from Square-Victoria and McGill métro stations. Service starts 1h45 prior to each football game with buses departing every three minutes.

Shuttle buses run along a specially marked reserved lane on University Street, between de La Gauchetire and Pine Avenue. After each game, shuttle service is provided for the return trip back to Square-Victoria and McGill stations.

More and more, sports fans are choosing public transit for its speed and efficiency. As such, the STM and the Alouettes’ organization are pleased to provide football fans with an interesting alternative for their transportation, enabling them to travel easily from home or office to see their favourite team in action.
