On Thursday evening, Montréal’s agglomeration council confirmed all nominations to the STM Board of Directors, and the board’s membership is now known.

On Thursday evening, Montréal’s agglomeration council confirmed all nominations to the STM Board of Directors, and the board’s membership is now known.

New members
Philippe Schnobb is chosen as chairman of the STM Board of Directors and as transit users’ representative.

The other new members are:

  • Jean-Francois Parenteau, mayor, Verdun borough
  • Nathalie Pierre-Antoine, borough councillor - Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles
  • Pierre Gagnier, mayor,  Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough
  • Marie Plourde, borough councillor, Mile End district

The STM congratulates all members on their nomination and welcomes them.

Reappointed members

  • Marvin Rotrand, city councillor - Côte-des-Neiges/Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, board vice-chairman
  • Francesco Miele, Montréal city councillor – Côte-de-Liesse district and city council majority leader
  • Claudia Lacroix Perron, transit users’ representative (member under 35)
  • Marie Turcotte, paratransit users’ representative
  • Edward Janiszewski, mayor, Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Outgoing members
The STM would like to thank Michel Labrecque*, Richard Bergeron, Bernard Blanchet, Elsie Lefebvre and Monica Ricourt for their hard work as board members.

Next board meeting
The next public meeting of the Board of Directors takes place Wednesday December 4 at the usual time.
