MétroArts
Through its commitment to make the public transit experience a pleasant one and establish a closer relationship with the people it serves, Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has been actively involved with the cultural community for a number of years. Whether to feature cultural events, showcase artists or venues for their work, STM’s objective remains the same: promoting the discovery of new, creative talents and making quality performances available to as many people as possible while encouraging them to use public transit.
When it created the MétroArts, the STM made a commitment to ensuring that public transit use is more enjoyable for passengers and that the métro provide a showcase for unique and original cultural events.
