Modifications to STM bus service and restricted
bicycle access from July 29 to August 3, 2008
Montreal, July 25, 2008 – As a number of different of events will be taking place from July 29 to August 3, 2008, the STM will modify some of its bus service during this period.
Because ridership might be quite heavy during these events, as well as for safety reasons, transporting a bicycle in the métro system may be restricted during various periods.

The STM will modify some of its bus service at certain times during those days:

15 – Sainte-Catherine

30 – Saint-Denis/Saint-Hubert

361 – Saint-Denis
-
515 – Vieux-Montréal/Vieux-Port
Please note that on Monday, August 4, the following bus routes will be deviated all day while festival installations are dismantled.
Also, because of the Nascar race, transporting a bicycle in the métro system will be restricted until after 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, and all day Saturday, August 2.
When planning their transportation to attend events held between Tuesday, July 29 and Sunday, August 3, transit users should call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (514 288-6287) for timetables at their bus stop.
