métro service
Trains will be added on the métro’s 1 – Green and 2 – Orange lines in the afternoon and evening to meet demand. Throughout the day on June 24, service on the 4 – Yellow line will be provided with nine-car trains. As the numerous Fête nationale activities generally result in increased ridership in the métro, bicycles will not be permitted at any time that day. To avoid line-ups after these events, the STM recommends that transit users purchase their return fare ahead of time and avoid waiting in line.
When planning their transportation during the Fête nationale holiday, transit users should consult their Planibus or Infobus panel, or call A-U-T O-B-U-S
(514 288-6287) for bus schedules at their stop. For other information, including travel directions, please call STM-INFO (514 786-4636). Bus timetables updated according to daily events are now available up to seven days in advance from the STM website at www.stm.info, as well as more useful transit information.
