Schedule change for Between Stops service

Montreal, 30 April 2003 – The Société de transport de Montréal wishes to inform its customers that from May 1 to August 30, the Between Stops service will be offered starting at 9:00 p.m. not as of 7:30 p.m., as is the case from the beginning of September to the end of April.

Women travelling alone at night who wish to get off the bus between two regular stops can make a request of the driver who will then determine if he can stop his vehicle safely.

The STM has offered the Between Stops service since June 1996. Research indicates that some 100 women use the service each day on the territory of the city of Montreal.
