Bus network redesign: STM announces next public consultation session by sector

News

In the Côte-Saint-Luc–Hampstead–Montréal-Ouest–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sector

Montréal, November 18, 2021 – As it moves forward with its bus network redesign project, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is announcing that it will hold a new public consultation in the Côte-Saint-Luc–Hampstead–Montréal-Ouest–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sector on December 6, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.

As was the case for the public consultation in the Saint-Laurent (non-industrial) and Ahuntsic-Cartierville sectors last spring, citizens will be given two possible ways to share their opinions: by participating in the virtual information session on December 6, at 6:30 p.m., or via the website Let’s chat.

Starting today, until December 19, for the sector, citizens will be able to:

  • Consult the information available, including the recorded information session posted a few days after the information session
  • Comment on others’ proposals, including those of the STM
  • Suggest ideas and receive comments from other participants
  • Learn about the results of the consultation once they are available

The aim of the bus network redesign is to improve customer experience and review the design and architecture elements of the surface network. Changes related to the redesign will be applied gradually starting in 2022 (depending on the opening date of the REM station on Île-des-Sœurs) and will take place along with the consultation in other sectors over the next three years.
