From June 17 to 26, as part of its iBUS project, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will perform test on a first passenger information terminal to be installed at the corner of Henri-Bourassa and Lacordaire boulevards (bus stop 55256). The tests will serve to enable the installation of various components and equipment operations.

Once the project is completed, some 90 terminals in all will have been installed throughout STM’s operating area, with 26 of them at strategically-located bus stops and the other 64 inside métro station entryways. The terminals will display useful information for transit users on their way, such as bus arrival times, their accessibility, any service disruptions (e.g. delays, relocated stops), as well as the status of métro service.
