My Alerts In line with the latest measures implemented to ensure the safety of its staff and customers, the STM will once again temporarily close the Cabot entrance to the Atwater metro station (2322 Sainte-Catherine Street West) this year.
This closure will be in effect at all times starting today until April 30, inclusive. Atwater station will remain easily accessible from the main entrance at 3015 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West.
Allowing the temporary closure of this entrance during the winter will reduce incidents of vandalism and undesirable or dangerous behavior, such as intimidation and drug use. This will allow resources (security and cleaning) to be concentrated in smaller areas in order to optimize operations.
The safety of our customers and staff, as well as the integrity of our infrastructure, remains our primary duty as a public transit operator.
