Montréal, June 14, 2016 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is announcing service will be enhanced on the 70 – Bois-Francs bus line weekends starting next June 20. This follows in the wake of a new focus on improving the transit experience for Montrealers.

Montréal, le 14 juin 2016 – La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) annonce la bonification de service sur la ligne 70 – Bois-Francs les jours de fin de semaine, et ce, à compter du 20 juin prochain. Cette mesure s’inscrit dans la foulée de la nouvelle vision axée sur l’amélioration de l’expérience client pour les Montréalais.

Montréal, June 13, 2016 –  The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) today announced that on Monday, June 20, 2016, it will begin operating a new reserved lane for buses, taxis and carpools on portions of boulevard Lacordaire, through the boroughs of Montréal-Nord, Saint-Léonard and Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie.

Montréal, le 13 juin 2016 –  La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) annonce la mise en service d’une nouvelle voie réservée pour bus, taxis et covoiturage sur le boulevard Lacordaire, qui touche les arrondissements de Montréal-Nord, de Saint-Léonard et de Rosemont – La-Petite-Patrie, et ce, à compter du lundi 20 juin 2016.

The arrival of new AZUR métro cars means the gradual removal of MR-63 trains from service, and we wanted to give them a chance at a second life. Issued last March 15, our call for proposals ended June 1.

Avec l’arrivée des nouvelles voitures AZUR, qui occasionnera le retrait progressif des voitures MR-63, nous avons souhaité donner une deuxième vie à ces dernières. Lancé le 15 mars dernier, l’appel de projets des voitures de métro MR-63 s’est terminé le 1^er juin.

Montréal, June 3, 2016 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is announcing that three elevators are now operational at Snowdon métro station on the Orange line.

« Having working elevators at Snowdon station is excellent news for customers. Universally-accessible stations contribute to improving the transit experience in the metro system by making it easier to get around. Making the metro accessible is still a priority for the STM and our work will continue toward that end for the benefit of all Montrealers », said Philippe Schnobb, chairman of the STM board of directors.

Montréal, June 1, 2016 – After two months of operational testing, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is pleased to report positive results for its Boarding via all doors pilot project, underway since last March 21 on the 121 – Sauvé/Côte-Vertu bus line.  Indeed, this project follows in the wake of the shift taken toward improving the customer experience with a view to delivering scheduled service.

Montréal, le 1 juin 2016 – Après deux mois d’opération, la Société de transport de Montréal (STM) dresse un bilan préliminaire positif du projet pilote d’embarquement par toutes les portes, en cours depuis le 21 mars sur la ligne 121 – Sauvé / Côte-Vertu. Rappelons que ce projet s’inscrit dans la foulée du virage de l’amélioration de l’expérience client dans la perspective de livrer le service planifié.
