La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) se réjouit de l’annonce d’une aide supplémentaire au transport collectif par le gouvernement du Québec. Il s’agit d’une excellente nouvelle, alors que l’achalandage croît depuis la rentrée de septembre. Hier, près de 769 000 déplacements ont été effectués en bus et en métro, soit 59 % de l’achalandage habituel. Les travailleurs devraient être de retour dans le réseau en nombre grandissant à compter de janvier prochain et il est essentiel d’offrir un niveau de service adéquat pour contribuer à la relance.
