The mobile version of the new stm.info website has won a NUMIX award in the business communications / service app category. STM’s mobile web application uses the core elements of the stm.info website and adapts it to the needs of transit users on the move.
From May 20 to August 24, 2014, the Guy entrance to Guy-Concordia station, located at 1445 rue Guy, will be closed to customers while repairs take place. Transit users can still enter the station from the Saint-Mathieu entrance, at the corner of Saint-Mathieu and De Maisonneuve.
Starting May 12, work will begin to upgrade the passenger platforms for the eastbound 470 – Express Pierrefonds bus line at Terminus Fairview in Pointe Claire. Indeed, because articulated buses will now be used, the platforms must be refurbished to accommodate these vehicles, as they are longer than standard-size buses. The work is expected to take five to eight weeks and will require the temporary relocation of a number of bus stops.

The Montréal Métro is truly an art gallery. Dozens of murals, stained glass panels and sculptures of all shapes and colours were installed in most of the network’s 68 stations, for the enjoyment and benefit of all métro riders. As their public steward, STM is also responsible for showcasing the works of art, a collection envied by several subway systems around the world. It is a great source of pride for STM, as well as for most passengers.
Starting Monday, the two 470 - Express Pierrefonds bus stops will be relocated within the Terminus Fairview grounds.
Several years ago, the STM undertook to improve the quality of its public address system inside métro stations so that more messages could be broadcast and information could be more clearly understood by passengers.
The Berri entrance to Berri-UQAM station will be closed January 13 - 16 while existing doors are replaced by new pivoting doors.
