Montréal, le 4 novembre 2022- Les clients du réseau de bus de la STM pourront bientôt bénéficier de déplacements plus ponctuels et prévisibles, alors que trois nouvelles voies réservées sur les axes Jarry, Queen-Mary et Henri-Bourassa Ouest seront mises en service en novembre ainsi qu’une voie d’évitement sur la rue Sherbrooke-Est. Les cyclistes pourront également profiter de certains de ces nouveaux aménagements.

Montréal had the honour of hosting CUTA’s 2022 annual conference, which took place from October 23 to 26. Attendees gathered from all over Canada to gain insights into local sustainable mobility solutions. STM experts shared plenty of knowledge, taking part in 11 panels and talks, as well as offering three technical tours of STM facilities for registered guests. Overall, the event was attended by over 700 specialists in the field of public transit.
Montréal a eu la chance d’être l’hôte du congrès annuel 2022 de l’ACTU qui s’est déroulé du 23 au 26 octobre. Pour l’occasion, les congressistes en provenance des quatre coins du Canada ont pu découvrir le savoir-faire local en matière de mobilité durable. Des experts de la STM ont partagé leurs connaissances en étant à l’honneur de 11 panels et conférences et trois visites techniques dans les installations du transporteur montréalais ont été offertes aux personnes inscrites. L’événement a rassemblé plus de 700 spécialistes du transport collectif.
In 2024, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is planning to work on the expansion and redesign of the Rielle mechanical ventilation station in the Verdun borough. To open a dialogue with the local community, the STM will hold a public consultation beginning November 3.
La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) devrait entreprendre en 2024 des travaux afin de procéder à l’agrandissement et au réaménagement du poste de ventilation mécanique Rielle, situé dans l’arrondissement de Verdun. Afin d’amorcer un dialogue avec la communauté, la STM tiendra une consultation publique à compter du 3 novembre prochain.
Avant d’entamer les travaux, la STM doit obtenir un règlement du conseil d'agglomération de la Ville de Montréal. Cette consultation publique se tiendra en trois temps :
The new BRT service will operate between Saint-Martin Boulevard in Laval and Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue in Montréal, except for the Jean-Talon area, where construction of the pedestrian tunnel to the future Blue line station is still ongoing, and the Pie-IX bridge, where renovations will be completed in 2023.
The BRT will serve eastern Laval and cross through four Montréal boroughs, offering transfers to the métro Green line (Pie-IX station), STL services in Laval and the exo5 commuter train line to Mascouche (St-Michel-Montréal-Nord station).
