Work on the future métro station located at the intersection of Pie-IX Boulevard and Jean‑Talon Street East will begin in a few months, and changes will be made to Le Boulevard shopping centre to accommodate this major construction site and better meet the needs of customers. Transimmobilier and the STM, as well as all partners of the Blue line extension, aim to promote and maintain a retail offering and a pleasant shopping experience, while creating conditions conducive to the successful completion of the Blue line extension, in preparation for commissioning in 2029.

Les travaux de la future station de métro située à l’intersection du boulevard Pie-IX et de la rue Jean-Talon Est commenceront dans quelques mois et de nouveaux aménagements seront effectués au Centre commercial Le Boulevard pour accueillir ce grand chantier et mieux répondre aux besoins de la clientèle.

Following the release of the provincial government’s 2023–2024 budget, the STM welcomes the $400 million emergency funding announced for public transit. With an average of 916,000 trips in its network per work day last week, the STM echoes the province’s statements urging the federal government to take similar action.

MONTRÉAL, 21 mars 2022 –  À la suite du dépôt du budget 2023-2024 du gouvernement provincial, la STM accueille favorablement l’aide d’urgence de 400 M$ annoncée en transport collectif, alors que son réseau comptait 916 000 déplacements pour un jour ouvrable moyen la semaine dernière. La STM joint également sa voix à celle du gouvernement du Québec pour solliciter l’effort du gouvernement fédéral.

Montréal, February 27 2023 – In collaboration with Transit, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is rolling out a new tool for viewing current detours in the bus network. The new AI-based feature is now available in Beta on the home page of the mobile and desktop versions of the STM website, as well as in the Transit app. Customers can use it to better plan their trips by viewing alternate routes, as well as temporary and relocated stops.

Montréal, le 27 février 2023 - En collaboration avec Transit, la STM déploie un nouvel outil de visualisation des détours en cours sur le réseau bus. Mettant à profit l’intelligence artificielle, cette nouvelle fonctionnalité sera disponible en mode « Beta » dès maintenant sur la page d’accueil du site web de la STM, sur son site mobile et sur l’application mobile Transit. Les clients seront ainsi en mesure de mieux planifier leurs trajets, en visualisant les parcours alternatifs, les nouveaux arrêts et les arrêts annulés.
