MONTREAL, April 26, 2017. – Competitor Canada, the company behind the popular Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) have signed a three-year partnership agreement regarding the Rock ‘n’ Roll Oasis Montreal Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. In 2017, this collaboration will make it much easier for the event’s 37,000 or more participants to get around as they will receive an STM transit pass valid for the day of their race.
MONTRÉAL, le 26 avril 2017 – Competitor Canada, l’entreprise à l’origine de la populaire Série des Marathons Rock ‘n’ Roll, et la Société de transport de Montréal (STM) ont conclu une entente de partenariat de trois ans relative au Marathon et Demi-Marathon Oasis Rock ‘n’ Roll de Montréal. En 2017, cette collaboration facilitera grandement les déplacements de plus de 37 000 participants qui obtiendront un titre de transport de la STM valide le jour de leur course.
With Défi sportif AlterGo activities getting underway today, STM is proud to once again be the official transporter for the event, one it has supported since 1993.
For many years now, STM has been driven by the need for better inclusion for individuals with functional limitations. Its partnership with Défi sportif AlterGo is a meaningful example, with STM seeing to the transportation needs of thousands of athletes who are taking part in this unique, international sports event.

Today, Tennis Canada and Société de transport de Montréal (STM) are announcing the renewal of their Rogers Cup partnership.
As Tennis Canada celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Green Plan, STM is pleased to contribute to the organization’s efforts to maintain its « carbon-neutral event » certification by once again providing free transportation to ticket holders and by extending this offer to all tickets. Spectators with tickets in either paper or electronic format can ride the bus or métro for free to get there and back.
