Public transit is always free for children 5 years old or under
when accompanied by an adult.
The Family Outings program allows up to five children aged 6 to 11 to ride public transit for free during certain periods when accompanied by an adult with a valid fare.
This offer will apply from 4 p.m. Friday until service ends Sunday night, on all legal holidays, and during:
- the holidays, from December 18, 2020 (4 p.m.) to January 3, 2021;
- school break, from February 26 (4 p.m.) to March 7, 2021;
- summer vacations, starting June 23, 2021 (4 p.m.).
Restrictions
The Family outings program does not include travel on the YUL Aéroport Mtl-Trudeau (747) shuttle.
Travel companions who already ride transit for free cannot claim additional free rides with Family Outings, as their companion card is not a valid transit fare as defined by STM regulations.
