One-day and three-day fare cards were designed for people who want to attend events over a period of a few days without having to worry about the number of transit rides they will be taking, people who want to try out public transit services
and tourists visiting our city for a few days.
WHAT ARE THEY ?
For the duration of your fare card’s validity, you can enjoy unlimited transit use on STM’s bus and métro network, namely:
- One day
For 24 hours from the time you validate your fare card
Example: a card validated at noon on Monday expires at noon on Tuesday.
- Three consecutive calendar days
Example: a card validated at noon on Monday expires at midnight on Wednesday.
Practical !
The unlimited transit use also applies to the
747 Express Bus, the shuttle service running between downtown and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.
WHERE DO I FIND THEM?
1. On OPUS cards
One-day and three-day fare cards are available from vending machines and métro fare collectors.
The OPUS card’s $6.00 purchase price is not included in the cost of a one-day or three-day fare card. After using up the one-day or three-day passes loaded onto
your OPUS card, you can keep it and recharge it with more fares at a later date.
2. On L’occasionnelle

If you do not have or do not wish to purchase an OPUS card, you can buy an occasional smart card for one or three days.
This temporary card is available at all times from fare vending machines and from métro fare collectors at all métro stations.
