The Société de transport de Montréal invites
the population to go see the new Chantilly métro station!

Montreal, July 11, 2008 As part of its partnership with the Just for Laughs Festival, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is inviting the population to come see the new Chantilly métro station located on Ontario St., between Sanguinet and Saint-Denis.

Indeed, during the Arts de la rue segment of the JFL Festival, held July 10 – 20, festival-goers can get their hands on some cool ice cream and marvel at the street performances of various artists, while relaxing on the station’s terrasse or in the small reception area inside.

In addition, each purchase made at Chantilly station will go toward helping those most in need, with the STM donating 10% of all sales to the Juste pour aider organization, as another way of contributing to a good cause.

The STM wishes to remind everyone that all Just for Laughs activities can be reached by public transit. As Victor says so well: “Metro-bus yourself to the Festival!”

When planning on attending any of these events, transit users are invited to call
A-U-T-O-B-U-S (514 288-6287) for bus schedules at their stops, as well as details of any service disruptions. For all other information, including travel directions, clients must call STM-INFO (514 786-4636), option 7.

Bus timetables updated with daily events are available from the STM website at www.stm.info and can be consulted up to seven days in advance. More transit-related information is also available from the website.
