In light of the work that must be carried out on Champlain Bridge in the next month, Société de transport de Montréal (STM) invites the public to make greater use of the métro system. To that end, the STM will operate nine-car trains on the métro’s Yellow line, instead of the usual six. Set to increase passenger capacity by 20%, this exceptional measure will be implemented on Monday and remain in effect while repairs are underway.
The STM wishes to remind everyone that the métro’s Yellow line offers a fast and efficient way to travel to downtown Montréal.
