As part of the Aires Libres event, artist Dominique Pétrin was invited to design a collection of decorations on the facades and buildings in the area around Sainte-Catherine Street East. As a result, some sections of the Beaudry métro station entrance will be adorned with silkscreen—the only material used by the artist—who will dress them in cut-out motifs and coloured print. The tailored silkscreen is glued using a biodegradable, potato starch mixture.
