Montreal, March 20, 2018 – The Société de transport de Montréal will improve the bus service on line 71 – from the Centre by extending its service until the métro service closes, at 1 a.m. from Sunday to Friday and 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.
This initiative provides an additional option for residents of Pointe-Saint-Charles to return home at the end of the evening. It also improves the service provided to this sector with line 57 – Pointe-Saint-Charles as well as line 71, which provides access to the orange métro line at Lionel-Groulx station.
It should be noted that the addition of 3,000 hours of bus service over the year is consistent with the 2018 improvements to enhance client experience.
