Route changes to the STMs bus network
Montreal, 14 November 2002 The STM wishes to inform transit users that several bus routes will be slightly modified to accommodate the two Santa Claus Parades held respectively Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 2002.
Ontario Street, Friday november 15
The following bus lines will be rerouted at one point between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. :
- 29 Rachel, 85 Hochelaga, 97 Mont-Royal, 125 Ontario and 139 Pie-IX.
Sainte-Catherine Street, Saturday november 16
Bus service will be suspended on both the 15 Sainte-Catherine between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on the 150 Ren�-L�vesque from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In addition, the following routes will be modified during these designated periods.
- From 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. : 57 Pointe-Saint-Charles, 63 Girouard, 66 The Boulevard, 90 Saint-Jacques, 104 Cavendish, 107 Verdun, 108 Bannantyne,
138 Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, 144 Av. des Pins, 165 C�te-des-Neiges and 166 Queen Mary
- From 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. : 61 Wellington, 80 Av. du Parc, 129 C�te-Sainte-Catherine and 168 Cité-du-Havre
- From 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. : 55 Saint-Laurent
The STM recommends using the metro to attend either parade. Since ridership levels are usually heavier after such events than before, it is also preferable to buy your return fare ahead of time.
