Lost an item?

It happens to everyone—phones, wallets, hats… Items are often left behind on buses, in the métro or in paratransit vehicles.

To get it back:

  1. Wait 48 business hours. That’s how long it usually takes before an item makes its way to the lost and found counter. Items from paratransit vehicles may take up to 10 days.
  2. Call STM-INFO at 514-786-4636, option 7 to check if your item has been found.
  3. If it has been found, go to the lost and found counter at the Berri-UQAM station to pick it up.

The STM is not responsible for lost items in its network.

Lost an important item on paratransit?

If you think you lost your wallet or phone on paratransit service, contact the paratransit Customer Service team at 514-280-8211, option 4.

Giving unclaimed items a second life

Found items are kept for three weeks. After that, most unclaimed items are donated to charitable organizations.

Found an item?

Please give it to a staff member or bring it directly to the lost and found counter at the Berri-UQAM station—the owner will greatly appreciate it.
