If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible before your next trip so that we can take the necessary safety measures.
For trips to vaccination centres
For trips to vaccination centres, some exceptions may apply to customers without assistance status for hand-to-hand trips or partial admissions. Please ask about this when you call and select option 1, and one of our customer contact centre agents will tell you whether it is relevant to your situation.
If you are pregnant, please let us know when you request your trip. We will ensure that you are the only passenger.
Passenger per vehicle limit
It is now possible to have up to two passengers per vehicle.
This is the maximum number of customers recommended by public health authorities and is possible due to the mandatory wearing of face coverings in all public transit.
The wearing of face coverings is mandatory at all times when taking paratransit. However, if you are unable to do so, please contact customer service.
Travelling to business
If you’re travelling to a business that has an exterior door, be sure that the business is open before your trip.
Protective screens have been installed in minibus, accessible sedans and taxis to help safeguard customers and drivers.
Please note that the SIRTA online reservation site remains open at all times: you can reserve a trip on SIRTA for the next day until 9:00 p.m. All requests for trips made no later than the night before will be accepted as usual.
We have changed the schedule for your trip reminders, which will start at 3:30 p.m. rather than 6:30 p.m.
Drivers are obligated to wear personal protective equipment (procedural masks and safety glasses) at pick-up/drop-off. Visors may be worn instead of safety glasses.
To prevent any risk of contagion, minibuses and taxis (both regular and accessible) will only transport one customer at a time, except in special cases (for example, two customers living at the same address).
Furthermore, as for the regular métro and bus network, we have reviewed and accelerated our cleaning procedures, ensuring increased cleaning frequency of minibuses and taxis. Drivers clean and disinfect all surfaces that customers touch frequently, such as interior and exterior door handles, seat belts, etc., with ordinary disinfectants, between each customer as much as possible.
These measures will remain in place for as long as necessary.
