Go to the Customer service centre or one of the service
points and bring the following with you:
- Your original purchase receipt for the new OPUS card
(it will be returned to you)
- Your expired OPUS card
- Your new OPUS card
- Since registration of your card is not automatically transferred onto the new card, take the opportunity to register your new OPUS card.
A cash amount of $6.00 will be refunded and the
remaining fares from your expired card will be loaded onto
an occasional smart card.

Your refund includes: The $6.00 purchase price of the new card, will be refunded
in the form of: Two trips, valid within the regular transit
network, loaded onto an occasional smart card.
Remaining fares on your expired card will be loaded onto
an occasional smart card.
Please note that postage fees will not be refunded.
Please note that registration of your OPUS card is not automatically transferred onto your new card. You must register your new card again. In order to proceed, please complete the
electronic form or drop by the Customer service centre or one of our service points.

- your expired OPUS card or the one that expires
in less than 90 days
- the original purchase receipt for the new card
(If you have purchased a monthly CAM pass, an
equivalent official receipt will be forwarded to you.)
