World premiere: Broadcast of the message for peace by artist Yoko Ono in the métro network !

Montréal, April 6 2009 – Today marks the debut of the broadcast in the métro network of the message for Peace from committed artist, Yoko Ono, in the tradition of the one that she and John Lennon launched in Montréal in 1969 during their famous bed in.

Here is the text of the message for Peace that all those who take the métro will hear between April 6 and June 21, 2009:

Bonjour Montréal, ici Yoko Ono!

Hi this is Yoko!

It's time for action, and action is peace.
Think Peace,
Act Peace,
Spread Peace, and tell your friends to
Imagine Peace.

I love you!

This message for peace, lasting 17 seconds, will be broadcast according to the following schedule:

From April 6 to 13 inclusively
2 messages broadcast during morning rush hour 1 during the morning 1 message broadcast during afternoon rush hour 1 in the evening

From April 14 to June 21 inclusively
3 messages per day at various times

The French version of this message will be displayed on the Alstom-Télécité screens inside certain métro cars. Here is the text:
