Un tour la nuit
STM service modifications
Montreal,
2 June 2005 - For safety reasons, carrying a bicycle in the métro
will not be allowed as of 3 p.m. while the Un tour la nuit
cycling event is held next Friday, June 3. The Société de transport de
Montréal (STM) reminds all transit users once again that riding a bicycle,
using a foot scooter or a skateboard, and wearing rollerblades inside a
métro station or aboard a bus is forbidden at all times.
Bus service
modifications
In addition to
deviating several bus routes, this event will require the cancellation of
service on the 15 – Sainte-Catherine bus route from 8 p.m. to 10:30
p.m., as well as on the 34 – Sainte-Catherine from 8:15 p.m. to 11
p.m.
The following bus routes will be slightly altered during the indicated
periods:

from 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. ;

from 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. ;

from 8:15 p.m. to midnight ;

Saint-Michel, from 8:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ;

their transportation to this event, transit users should check their
Planibus and Infobus or call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for bus schedules at
their stop. For all other information, including travel directions, please
call STM-INFO (786-4636). Bus timetables updated according to daily events
are now available from the STM’s website up to seven days in advance at
www.stm.info, along with more useful transit information.
