Major construction work at Berri-UQAM station

Phase 1 completed
Work began in the summer of 2010 and ended this summer. It involved the removal of cement block walls and portions of ceilings in public areas. Temporary wall-coverings were installed in this first phase of major repairs in the Berri-UQAM station.

More repairs scheduled
More repairs of lesser scope will begin in January 2012 until July. They will target certain corridors and the four red columns located on the mezzanine level. Only minor inconveniences are expected for customers. Mechanical and electrical components will be updated next.

Once all the repairs are completed, the temporary wall-coverings will be replaced with permanent architectural facings.
