Reserved area for strollers aboard low-floor buses

Clients travelling with a stroller aboard a low-floor bus enjoy priority access to the reserved area, if it is not already occupied by a passenger in a wheelchair. Zone réservée

The sticker in the window above the reserved area indicates that priority is given first to clients in a wheelchair, and second to clients with a stroller.

Remember that clients with a stroller always board the bus at the front and that the foldover ramp is used exclusively for passengers in a wheelchair.

Priority use of the reserved area is now granted to strollers following a testing period carried out on bus routes in Plateau Mont-Royal district in summer 2008. The majority of our transit users are in favour of setting aside an area for strollers because it clears the aisle inside the bus.
