Georges-Vanier Station temporarily closed

From June 2 to September 5, 2008

The STM must temporarily close Georges-Vanier métro station to carry out major renovations.

While work is underway,

  • The entrance to Georges-Vanier station will be closed at all times.

  • The métro will pass through Georges-Vanier station at a reduced speed and occasionally make a stop, but the doors will remain closed (passengers may not exit).

  • A shuttle bus service (about every 10 minutes) will run between Georges-Vanier, Lionel-Groulx and Lucien-L’Allier stations. Shuttle buses will travel on Saint-Antoine – Atwater – Saint-Jacques – De la Montagne – Saint-Antoine streets.

  • Schedule: Weekdays and Sunday: 05:30 am to 01:15 am
    Saturday: 05:30 am to 01:45 am

  • Attention! You will no longer be able to purchase your transit fares at Georges-Vanier station while it is closed. Be prepared – buy your fares ahead of time at another station.
