My Alerts Montréal, December 17, 2012 – In order for families to fully enjoy activities during the festive season, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will offer their Family Outings program every day from December 22, 2012 to January 6, 2013. During this period, one adult with a valid transit card can ride within the STM network at no extra cost with a maximum of five children up to eleven years of age. Paratransit customers may also benefit from this program.
This offer comes at an opportune time with children now on holidays and so many outings available to them, their families and their friends. Why bother with the car when you can relax and enjoy the ride by bus or métro. After the Holidays, the program remains in effect on Saturdays, Sundays and on legal holidays.
Furthermore, in addition to savings on transportation expenses for families, the Family Outings program provides access to exclusive discounts from twenty partners related to tourism, cultural and leisure industries. The STM urges you to check out schedules in advance as well as discounts validity periods with partners.
