My Alerts Montréal, November 26, 2012 – The young and the young at heart are invited to participate in a free dance workshop hosted by the STM and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal teams featuring The Nutcraker, one of the most beloved holiday classics.
On this occasion, children will have the unique opportunity to try on various accessories used to stage the ballet production, attend a demonstration of dance on pointe shoes and complete some ballet exercises under the supervision of Grands Ballets Canadiens professional ballet dancers.
Date: Saturday, December 1 at 2 p.m.
Location: Place-des-Arts métro station
Finally, door prizes will also be given out to children in attendance. The STM would like to remind parents to take advantage of the Family Outings program to attend this event. With this program, an adult with a transit pass valid throughout the STM network can ride at no extra cost with up to five children under the age of 12 on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays.
