Montréal, February 26, 2009 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) would like to remind everyone that, from February 28 to March 1, they will be able to take full advantage of the All-Nighter. In fact, to mark the 6th edition of this unique event, the métro will run all night on this particular occasion and will be accessible to all those holding a valid transit fare. This decision by the Société follows a meeting with the officials of the MONTRÉAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival in September 2008.

In addition, for a fifth consecutive year, the STM is pleased to offer the MONTRÉAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival a special rate for the rental of buses, thus enabling it to provide festival-goers with a shuttle service to the various cultural event sites.

As well, the twenty bus routes providing night time service will complement the one-time-only all-night métro service for anyone holding a valid transit fare for the STM network. For the schedules and routes of the night buses, clients should consult the STM’s Web site (www.stm.info), which also contains plenty of other useful information.
