La Fête des enfants de Montréal: The STM presents “DJ en herbe” in association with Piknik Électronik
Montréal, August 13, 2009 – As part of La Fête des enfants de Montréal held this August 14, 15 and 16, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) invites children to come discover the basics of “DJing,” also known as the art of “mixing,” and become spellbound by the rhythms served up by Piknic électronik DJs Alix and Slim Jim. This novel activity will be happening at the STM’s Funanbus in front of Jean-Drapeau métro station. Once again, for the eleventh consecutive year, the STM is proud to act at the official transporter for La Fête des enfants. Indeed, on August 15 and 16, upon presentation of a special family pass for La Fête des enfants, available at participating Jean-Coutu pharmacies (Will open in new window)"> participating Jean-Coutu pharmacies in the Montréal area, children and their families can travel to and from the event for free on the STM’s buses and metro. The STM is pleased to contribute to the success of this family-oriented activity as, over the years, the Fête has become a popular event, bringing together Montréal’s various communities.
