Montreal, March 27, 2008 - The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is proud to take part in the global movement, Earth Hour.

In fact, the STM, in collaboration with its operations management team, will ask all employees to turn out the lights where possible on Saturday, March 29, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Through various promotional vehicles, it will also invite its clients and partners to turn out the lights at the prescribed time.

« These initiatives taken by the Société are directly linked to its commitment to sustainable development and complement the hundreds of actions already undertaken in this area » added Mr. Trudel.
