Montréal Museum Day:
The STM invites the population to change their world !

Montreal, May 13, 2008 For 22 years, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has been involved in Montréal Museums Day and, this year again, will provide free transportation to all those who plan on enjoying the Open Doors event that will be held Sunday, May 25.

“Change your world !” is a theme the STM understands well and we take special pride in contributing to the 22nd edition of Montréal Museums Day. We are calling on the population to come in large numbers and experience something different, discover something new, and even meet someone new that could change their world,” declared Claude Trudel, Chairman of the STM Board of Directors.

In addition to the available shuttle service, the STM reminds visitors they can also use its regular transit network to take part in the event, as most participating museums are accessible by public transit.

Those who plan on using the regular bus and métro network for their visit should, however, remember that they must show a valid transit fare.

By calling A U-T-O-B-U-S (514 288-6287), visitors can obtain bus timetables at their stop. For all other information, they can call STM-INFO (514 786-4636). More transit related information is available from the STM website at www.stm.info.
