STM Transit Information
Modified schedules for Easter weekend

Montreal, 7 April 2004 The STM wishes to inform transit users that bus and métro schedules will be slightly modified for the Easter holiday weekend.

On Friday, April 9 and Monday, April 12, most bus routes will be following the Saturday schedule, while a few others will run according to either their regular schedule, their Sunday schedule or a special schedule. On Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, most bus routes will be providing regular weekend service. Moreover, because of the number of religious events and street processions being held in many neighborhoods, bus service could run a little late on some routes. When planning their transportation, transit users are invited to consult their Planibus timetables, Infobus panels, or to call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for schedule information at their bus stop.

As for the métro, on Friday, April 9 and Monday, April 12, trains on the 1 - Green and 2 - Orange lines will run every 8 minutes between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and every 7 minutes until 6 p.m. On the Blue line, the interval between trains will be 7 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. On the 4 – Yellow line, Sunday service levels will be in effect from Friday to Monday inclusively. Adjustments will be made on any line if needed.

For more information as well as travel directions, transit users can call STM-INFO (786-4636). More useful information can be obtained from the STM website www.stm.info.
