Canadian Football League’s East Division Final
The best way to get there is by métro !

Montreal, 11 November 2004 – The STM recommends that fans use the métro to go see the last game in the Canadian Football League’s East Division finals this Sunday, November 14. The Olympic Stadium is easily reached by métro: fans can get off at either Pie-IX or Viau métro stations.

métro service will be adjusted according to ridership, and trains will be added to meet with demand on the Green – 1 , Orange – 2 and Yellow – 4 lines. As ridership levels are usually much higher after such events, the STM also recommends fans purchase their return fare in advance.

The Tourist Pass is an ideal fare option for visitors wishing to take part in all the football related activities, as it provides unlimited travel aboard public transit for either a one-day ($8) or three-day ($16) period. It can be purchased at Berri-UQAM, Bonaventure and Peel métro stations.

When planning their transportation to these events, transit users should consult their Planibus timetables or call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for bus schedules at their stop. For other travel information, please call STM-INFO (786-4636). More useful information can also be found on the STM’s website at www.stm.info .
