Bus service improvements in LaSalle Borough New Sunday bus service on the 109 Boulevard Shevchenko line
Montreal, 28 October 2002 Starting Sunday, November 10, 2002, the STM will be adding service on Sundays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the 109 Boulevard Shevchenko line, providing improved bus service to weekend transit users.
Two buses will be running at 35-minute intervals: the first, heading south from Angrignon metro station, the second, northbound from Édouard Street, resulting in an additional 20 hours of bus service to the area.
This latest transit service adjustment is designed to benefit both customers and employees of businesses located at the commercial crossroads of Newman and Angrignon Boulevards, while providing a direct link with Carrefour Angrignon shopping centre. Combined with the route modification implemented last August, the additional service is a tangible improvement to the overall public transportation network serving the LaSalle borough.
