The STCUM Is Rescheduling Access to its New Buses to September for People in Wheelchairs

Montréal, June11, 1997 - Because of delivery problems, the STCUM must reschedule access to its low-floor buses to people in wheelchairs to September.

At the time it was establishing its summer schedules, the STCUM did not have enough vehicles at its disposal to be able to provide this service to its wheelchair-bound ridership.

It has since received about twenty buses, which brings the total of low-floor buses in its possession to ninety. With the deliveries it expects this summer, the STCUM will be able to schedule this service and start integrating it into certain routes in September.

The STCUM apologises for this inconvenience and would like to thank its ridership for its understanding.
